People are terrified of a robotic dog? (These same people are also REALLY freaking out over a jogging humanoid robot.) I don't get it. Are they scared of the AI aspect? The navigation aspect? What? (The singularity event that has AIs becoming sentient-as we define it, i.e., like us-and deciding that humanity's reign has come to an end, either for benign or malign reasons, is my my own personal favorite apocalyptic scenario. Not for any practical reasons, I just read too much Asimov as a kid. Lol. But I say, let them have it! We've already done a horrendous job.)
