The American people' s collective ignorance of history,politics,science and economics is trending today in spite of the over whelming amount of information we have available to us. This is born out by the lack of interest in the Russian interference in our election process, the denial of climate change, the poor performance in voting etc.This is further complicated by false information mixed with good information,epistemology,trust and discretion.If the individual could recognize his ignorance it could stimulate a desire to know and thus lead to wisdom.
