For a great read I'd like to suggest Suzy Hansen, "Notes on a Foreign Country-An American Abroad in a Post- American World" this is her first book. She is a contributing journalist for The Times Magazine

That looks great. I think a criticism of how Americans think their way of life is superior to everyone else's is way overdue. My guess is that their education is to blame.

The book is an amazing read. It is really her coming of age enlightenment. Clearly written and an easy read but very concise
