Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I saw one fighting to get a paralyzed wolf spider into a gap between two cinder blocks. The opening was about one third of the spiders size, but that damned wasp tried for hours.
Every time he went in the spider got stuck and he dropped it. The wasp would then fly back down to get it and climb back up the wall. The opening to his n'est was about 7 feet high. That was a very tedious climb for the insect.

thats amazing. do they stun prey for there larva?

I don't know the species, but some paralyze and drag the prey back to their home for the larva to eat and some simply lay their eggs in or on prey and carry on.
