Ok I had family members in Germany during the war. After hearing their stories, there can be absolutely no comparison made between our Prime Minister and Adolf or any other dictator. Just ludicrous. Read some history books.
Justin is in a minority government situation too, so he needs the support of others to move ahead. The people behind this last protest are not truckers but extreme right wing religious fascists looking to make Canada into a fundie religious republic. Oh, almost forgot they are white supremacists too-big time. As soon as you hear the words "purity of the blood" or something like that, you know where this is heading, cue the real Hitler/Nazi references. Thank goodness they are a fringe group, unable to perform the slightest modicum of critical thinking. The people showing up were duped, a very clear example of the Dunning Kruger effect.So so many people that are desperately in need of a Civics course.
On another note did you see how fast the PC's changed their tune on the convoy once the polling numbers came in? Wow.
Let us be very clear , this was a group of anarchists, looking to overthrow a lawfully elected government. So I am thinking freezing the assets of people fomenting a treasonous act is a wonderful thing, and has helped immensely.

He’s not a Dictator…he’s a Prime Minister…he’s not even a President who would have the ability to act in the manner of a dictator. Canada is governed by a system of Parliamentary Democracy….the PM is head of a Cabinet and the Cabinet has collective responsibility for decisions taken, the PM doesn’t act unilaterally. The PM and his cabinet answers to the elected members of parliament in the Canadian House of Commons in exactly the same way as at Westminster in the U.K….which it was modelled on. If he appears to be acting like a dictator why are his cabinet and MPs not telling him to resign or resigning themselves? What do the majority of Canadians actually think about Trudeau’s government’s actions…is this not just a very vocal minority who are against his measures, and do the silent majority not actually agree with him?

Most seem to be cut from the same cloth these days.
