My wicked Cloris had me so scared. I had not seen her for hours. I thought omg what if she suddenly crawled into a hiding place and DIED???? I looked everywhere. I opened up the utility closet door, even though I had not opened it for weeks. Same with cupboards. I pulled the recliner away from the wall. I laid down on the floor and peeked under the couch. Then I laid down on the floor to peer under the bed. I have numerous items under the bed and thought there was no way she could find a place to hide down there. I pushed a few items around and lo and behold, she came crawling out. I scolded her. She just sat there and purred like nothing was wrong.

When my roommie moved in I listened to Heath hit the cellar door for 1/2 an hour - telling him intermittently to "knock it off dude!" - after a half hour I went to look and he wasn't sitting there - he was on the WRONG SIDE!
Cats! He's snuck by while we were moving stuff and wanted back upstairs! I maybe gave him some treats too.

My sewing room has many hidey places. I usually check the cats locations when I leave the room because when I'm not in it the door is closed. Well, not as unfrequently as I would like I shut a cat in. And often it is for several hours and yes, sometimes they have to do what they have to do. And then there is all the stuff to get into. Bobbins are fun to unwind...
