One relaxed kitty!

This is Mei. We found her six months ago. Vet estimated that she was about 9 months old at the time, but she only weighed 4.25 pounds. She was so thin and bony we almost didn't want to pick her up for fear we'd hurt her, but she was so affectionate. She wanted nothing but to sit on your lap. Now she's about 9 pounds and still lays on me often (first time she's sprawled herself on her back as she is in the picture).

So the instructions say a good post asks a question to invite discussion.

To go, or not to go, that is the question. When nature calls, but your kitty is resting on you so peacefully and you don't want to displace her.

Such a good question!

It all depends on how your experiencing that loving, content kittiness means to you in the moment.

Some days it will mean everything and you won't move for anything less than a semi crashing into your house.

Other days, a few minutes of it is enough to refuel your soul, and you know there will be more of it tomorrow.

My two fur babies have been with me for five years, and every day the answer is different. But I always know that this is a sign of pure contentment and trust from my sweeties. And that makes me very happy.
