In a store that sells lots of pet stuff , I paused long enough to check out the cat and dog beds . For some unexplained reason , the bottom of the dog beds was much thicker than the bottoms of the cat beds , although the cat beds had little walls around them . Cats are smart . People are dumb , and keep buying the cute little cat beds , when you know for a fact , the cats will sleep on the bed with the thicker bottom .
