Reminds me of the the good old days when we had a large steel trashcan with a lid (so that cat's could not break into it) One day my mother made the mistake of placing the large steel trashcan on the top of the stairwell into the basement. About 02:00 everybody was awaken as the two cats had worked together to knock the trashcan down the stairs leaving a trail of chicken bones, egg shells, etc. . .

Reminds me of Gideon. He races around the house more than any other cat I've ever had, and to date, I'm had 13, including Gideon.

What are you doing to kill so many off?
@FrayedBear I didn't kill any of them. The 13 goes back to when I was in Junior High School about 1957 or 58 when I got my first cat. The only time I haven't had one is when I was in the Navy. All of them have died of old age. Gideon's only two, so he'll be around for a while.

Had me worried there. You have taken a lot of rescue cats in? I have only had one cat companion and we were together 23 years.
