I like Rising but sometimes Saagar reveals himself as the right wing asshole that he is. To say that he rejects the idea that calling police on someone puts them in harms way is to gloss over the reality of the danger that people put minorities in when calling the police on them. Especially when it's done the way Amy did it, saying that he is threatening her in a panicked voice. Our police are overly militarized, overly aggressive and often bigoted.That could absolutely have ended badly for him rather than her had he not been recording.
It's the same whenever Saager speaks about cannabis. He holds ignorant, obsolete, draconian views on drug policy and it is despicable.
He says that being label as a racist for the rest of your life is the worst thing that can happen to you in America. Ummmm, fuck off Saagar!
