Does educational inequality access affects society?
As per 2019 UN Happiness Report, Finland is the happiest country in the world, with Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and the Netherlands holding the next top positions, education both secondary and higher education is free in Finland, don't you think that this has made the people in the society to have equal access to high quality education and then in result, equal employment opportunity, which leads to low crime rate and a happy society?

If these "happiness" surveys are based solely on self-reporting I don't give them much credibility. What are the chances that Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland -- all Scandinavian, all with 10-month-long winters, but with different cultures and living conditions -- are always genuinely heading this list? (Netherlands similarly has a self-boosting mentality.)

Yes. I would say it is certainly one of the factors that contributes to the overall happiness of the country. But you might also notice these are all small countries. It is easier to make a small country happy.

I think Finland is bigger than most of the European countries, including UK, France, Spain and Germany
@Noor92 The bulk of Finland is forest and tundra. I should have said relatively small populations!
@Noor92 I agree. When I hear of a region like Catalina or Scotland wanting independence, I am usually in favour since I think smaller entities can be more democratic and are happier. You might think that the USA being divided up into states might have the same effect but I don't think it does because they are not really independent.
