#GENERALSTRIKE2020: HOW TO PARTICIPATE

There's a lot of this going on now days. But before you jump into this puddle make sure you're wearing the right boots before you can no longer afford boots. If you get wind of such a strike just don't take it for granted that everyone you work with is striking. Ask around to make sure they are or you're all on the same page. Going back the next day to find out your getting fired because you were the only one who took the day off, or with a relatively few, might mean you can no longer afford boots, for a while at least.
Rent strikes. Live in a large complex? Talk to your neighbors! How are they and the land lord communicating these times.
Just use some common sense, logic, and seek information to apply to all aspects of this notice.

I posted an article a couple weeks ago, from the WSWS (World Socialist Web Site) I think it was, that covered some apparent strikes like this kind. In their findings it came to be that certain occupations were targeted by MSCM and groups within a manufactured narrative of pending strikes taking place. Some people were fired when they didn't go to work. I'm unable to find the article so I'm paraphrasing on memory. I know Amazon workers and postage/package delivery workers seemed to be targeted, off the top of my head. This would seem to suggest a degree of collaboration between media and groups with employers to weed out what they find to be problem makers. And or word through the working place grapevine, employer decided to react with firing.
