they just started here in a week there will be a thousand or so. it's a pretty good-size patch.

@hankster yes I think they taste kind of like fresh peas out of the shell if my memory serves me right.People put them in salads but I have been known to graze standing in the field

@BucketlistBob nope, no bacon at all.... not a whole lot of flavor really, kind of essence of foliage. might be right with a lot of honey mustard, or blue cheese dressing on it.

@hankster It truly is spectacular. I love this tree. The blooms are the most gorgeous shade of purple.

@KKGator they are pretty, there are a couple in the yard here. once they get started they'll just Bloom and bloom all summer.

@hankster That is definitely something else I love about them. They keep blooming for quite a long time. Beats the hell out of azaleas.
They look pretty for a couple of days, and the rest of the time, they look like a trash bush.
