Beautiful! Lucky you - mine haven't started blooming yet.
eat it
really?
@hankster. Bacon?huh? Bacon?
@BucketlistBob scallops ain't bad.
@BucketlistBob, @btroje I think it's more like chicken just tastes like everything else. just depends on what you put on it and how you cook it I think.
@hankster lol....
@BucketlistBob, @btroje okay.... so I ate one of them things this afternoon. tasted like yard. but it was mighty juicy.
@hankster. Yard?.... what about the bacon?
@BucketlistBob nope, no bacon at all.... not a whole lot of flavor really, kind of essence of foliage. might be right with a lot of honey mustard, or blue cheese dressing on it.
@hankster wrapped in bacon...lol.
@BucketlistBob hate to waste bacon!
The crepe myrtle is starting to bloom. This is the largest tree of this kind I've ever seen. I love that I get to see it everyday.
I've never seen one with a single trunk like that. that is a big'un.
Posted by FernappleI went for a walk in the woods today, and on a tiny oak tree, I found this wonderful cluster of, so called, Oak Apples.

Posted by sc62Day trip to the lake last weekend. I spent most of an afternoon next to this lily patch. It was such a nice, refreshing mini retreat.
