I really want to thank the members who spent their time on this site. It was a lovely experience, and the members were really great people. Thank you.

Many of you knew me only as “Admin.” My name is Andrew Conru. I started Agnostic.com in 2017, when I was trying to figure out my relationship with religion. Our intention was to build a safe, moderated place where people could talk honestly about religion and belief, and express themselves.

After that experience I came back to understanding that religion, and Christianity, is more nuanced, more of a state of mind. I even started going back to church for a while, and I’m happy to call myself a Christian. I try to live my life better accordingly. I’m still agnostic about it, but I understand religion more, and it’s more beautiful than I thought.

After a while, running the site became too much alongside everything else, and reality and time moved forward. I hope the site has helped people, as a safe, moderated place to express yourself.

It was a lovely time. Maybe someday we’ll build another one.
