I've found that if your expectations are negative, they are generally met. Changing those expectations is not easy, but it's worth the effort. Sure there are some nuts out there, but most people are generally decent. Sometimes too, we try to find something negative in people so we can avoid having to interact with them. That's my M.O. We ARE introverts. after all.

Change your belief that most people suck, and you'll begin meeting people who don't suck.

I get the drama thang, unfortunately i am subconsciously drawn to people like that despite my protests. That said i would advise making sure you yourself don't 'suck' before judging others ?

While I understand your frustration, negativity attracts negativity. Looking for a woman who fits 'you' is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It takes time, patience and understanding. And a positive attitude. Remember that they aren't on this earth to please you. They're here looking for someone to please them as well. When they see all the negativity around you, the good ones head for the hills because they don't want to deal with your drama and BS (stress and anxiety). Then what are you left with? The ones who don't 'fit' you. Do what you need to do to lower your stress and anxiety. Here's a quote that might help. It helps to be kind to others first, regardless of how you feel about them. I certainly don't like all people, but I'm at least civil with them and not hurtful.

I'm sorry you've had trouble establishing relationships with people. I can't claim to be an expert either, but I don't believe most people are bad, or out to do bad things to other people. Maybe you're just looking in the wrong places, or making poor choices about with whom to interact.
