A rainy day here, unexpectedly, though much needed and it was not grey. I felt the need to see what was flowering... there's a Hibiscus, Petrea or Sandpaper vine, Pink Ginger, a Heliconia, a Croton, pendant Heliconia, the male Papaya flowers, zinnia, a yellow ground orchid (I think?), a Cavendish banana, all within 500 feet of the house.
And all loaded sideways AGAIN. I guess that's forever?

@Allamanda those are such exotic looking flowers. Hard to keep ones jaw from hitting the floor.

@Allamanda Beautiful . I hope someday I'll be able to visit the tropics again . Your lucky to be living there .

Makes me happy to see all of these, when my garden has quickly decided that fall is arriving!

@Allamanda well there are worse things that are invasive....
Do you have poison ivy, oak or sumac?

@Allamanda you are so lucky! If I am not careful that horrible stuff will show up in my flowers & I am highly allergic....

Wow! I can see why they call it paradise. Beautiful.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
