First time I planted okra, I put in 4 rows of dwarf okra, not realizing that dwarf was the fruit size and not the plant size. Once they got over 8 feet tall, I cut then to two feet, I was harvesting twice a day about a half of bushel each time. I learned my lesson.

Hysterical!
One Okra plant stuck in with the tomatoes provides more than enough for us.

@bigpawbullets I didn't have enough friends to take all my surpluses that year. I overplanted everything, tomatoes, beans, squash as well as okra. The trials of a new unsupervised gardener.

@glennlab
We all did that Glenn. 😆

How pretty. I don't eat okra if I can avoid it.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
