Despite some really heavy frosts this April, the garden is still full of flowers. One frost nearly every night, certainly more than all winter, the winter was actually a very mild one, but it has been the coldest April for forty years. With: Honesty, Euphorbia (Spurge), Lamium, Marsh Marigold, Cornflower, Tulip, Ornithogalum, Cowslip, and Rosemary.
You have a nice assortment of flowers there.
We had a deep dip in the temperatures overnight into the upper 30's not too long ago. I covered several young shoots starting to emerge with extra dog blankets. Next morning, my poor little dog were so confused about their blankets outside on the ground. They'd careful approach and sniff and then stand there staring at the blankets not knowing quite what to think.
Amazing how nature can withstand the 🥶 cold and come back like it does!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
