Wow, 25 bottles of Raspberry wine, that's impressive! I love fruity wines, especially ones with notes of blackberry and strawberry. I can only imagine how delicious your Raspberry wine must taste. I have always been passionate about trying out different varieties of fruits to make wine. My friends and I have tried making wine before, but we've never been as successful as you. I've heard that Sicilian white wines pair well with fruits as snacks. Have you ever tried any of those? I bet they would be a great addition to your collection. Keep up the great work on your wine-making journey!
My friends in Colorado would have wine making parties and bring lots of fruit to make into wine. My all time favorite was cranberry wine. We would win first prize at the county fair judging events for many years. There are about two thousand bottles of our wine in a cellar on a farm in Brighton CO.
Another favorite was Tuna wine. Tuna is a Mexican word for prickly pear (cactus fruit).
I like cranberry wine. I buy leftover cranberries at my local grocery store after the holidays. They usually sell at a discount after Christmas...
Looks wonderful. I noticed the word Framboise on one of the labels. Framboise is a sweet Belgian ale.
Actually there is a Belgian lambic ale made with Raspberries that is labeled Frambois - but it is just a French spelling for Raspberry. There is also a distilled Raspberry spirit called Frambois.
@FrostyJim There are several flavors from that company. It's a different way of making beer that doesn't taste like beer. There is a similar beer made in Germany called Berliner Weisse: [beerandbrewing.com]
Before the bad freezes here, I used to make pomegranate wine. I'd get about 300-500 pounds per year.I'd freeze the seeds and make 5 gallon batches.
How did we go all this time without me knowing this? And WHY have I never tasted this Pomegranate Wine?
@MsKathleen I could have sworn I talked about my wine making in the past. If you're ever in the Dallas area the offer is open. I don't normally travel with it. since if I grab a bad bottle, I can just grab another.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
