WTG!
Not looking like I’ll ever again have a garden. I’m living as city as it gets and the community gardens (all 12 of them) have longer waiting lists than I am probably gonna live.

If you have room for a shelf unit you can grow some fresh food indoors.

@FrostyJim I do have room for a shelf, but I’d have to get a grow light because none of my windows gets any sun. (This is a good thing, because I do not have a/c and when June comes and the trade winds stop, I’ll stay cool enough with the ceiling fans.) And, quite frankly, being in the tropics, I do not wish to have any dirt indoors, which might encourage undesirable insects to move inside my abode.

I have done many attempts at growing Bok Chow, while they readily grow in the tropics, so do the grasshoppers and leaf eaters. (in abundance)
I spray almost daily to save my Bok Chow but the near daily rain washes it off and the 6 legged destructors have a feast.
I have tried nets but they also cut out a lot of sunlight which did not go well for my plans.
The only netting I could find that was fine enough to keep the pests out was shadecloth.
