Just so the ignorant like me know what a ground beetle is!

There I thought it was a 6 legged bug ground up with pestle & mortar.

Does this include "all" ground beetles or is this a specific species? I have slugs and sowbugs under stones, logs, and leaf litter here!

Yes a bit vague, especially give that the are probably more species of beetle on the planet than all other comparable animal groups taken together, most of which live on the ground. Someone once said that the only thing you can learn about god from nature, is that. "If he exists, then he sure likes beetles a lot."

Posted by FrostyJim...why didn't I think of that?

Posted by FernappleIts the time for one of my favourite flowers, Primula florindae, the giant cowslip to flower. The cinnamon scent fills the garden on warm days.

Posted by FrostyJimIt's almost salad season. It is amazing how fast my salad greens grow in just 3 weeks since setting out my seedlings in our long Alaska summer days...
