Keep it coming, spread it and before you know it you will have sorted that problem with your drainage. Tell them to stop when the whole lot is three feet deep in chips. It will eventually rot down to about 4-6 inches. Repeat process next year. A little horse, cow or sheep manure will make fine addition. Do you have a local horse racing track, pig, hen or intensive cow factory?
You then start bagging the chips and selling it to neighbours at $2 / bag! Retire in fifty years.
