Last bee hotel post!
I'm sure everyone's more than glad.
Linda assisted in picking the location. Good view from the verandah with binoculars. If we get customers, I'll post pictures. Might take awhile though. Thank you all for your encouragement and patience with an old man and his sillyness.

I'm tempted to build a bat house and install it on the side of my house to help control the mosquitoes and other biting insects near me. Bonus: Since bats only hunt at night, they would never mess with any bees since bees only forage during the day šŸ™‚

Now........ you've done it.
A bat house...... A BAT HOUSE!!!!

Looks great! Good location. Looks very sculptural.

A. You're not an old man. And B. It isn't silly in the least. Garden gnomes are silly, cute but useless. You did something good for the environment and I thank you. It has been fascinating to watch the process. Can't wait to see your visitors!

You know....... if we don't get any bees......
I'll go buy some plastic ones and fake a picture.

@bigpawbullets That sounds like something Iā€™d do!

LOL, With all my morning trips to the garden, I more than welcomed you building the bee hotel, Now build something else, Cause it looks like I still have more trips to the garden. Please.

We should be neighbors Ken.

@bigpawbullets I agree we should.

Thank you. If it's good for pollinators it's good for all of us.

You're most welcome.
I'm trying to keep my tiny part of the planet going.

Please do not apologize. We loved every minute of the process. It looks great & in the garden even better. I am celebrating this habitat addition by opening a St. Pauli Girl. La Chaim! Careful Ms. Linda. He is free now to begin the chase again...=0}

Looks like it belongs there.

Coneflowers? So pretty.

I look forward to seeing bees in it "If you build it they will come....".

I also told my neighbor about this project. He's retired and he's a woodworker who gardens so - good fit!
