Fried green tomatoes? I used to quarter them up and put them in with cubed potatoes, squash, and little olive oil in a foil packet on the grill. Excellent.

Green tomatoes make a great relish as well I turn mine over to my sister and get some relish back. Great on burgers and in sandwiches.

@kenriley , I liked them better like that. The oil from frying didn't overpower the taste.

@HeathenFarmer , I have a sister that makes it too. It's wonderful.

@freeofgod Blessed be sister when we lack certain culinary skills ourselves, LOL.

The heat damaged things a little, left scars I see. Nice harvest though.

Your garden just keeps on giving up the goodies, glad that you got the rain you needed.

@kenriley Thanks, I bought that hat in Grand Haven, Michigan it works well in the spring and autumn temps and has a pliable wire in the brim that allows me to shape it depending upon the amount of sun and wind.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
