Ripe Indigo Rose tomato. There was a lot of interest when I posted a photo of the plants, so I decided to share a photo of the ripe fruit.

Just a little sweeter than a standard cherry tomato, also a lot juicier.

@JenBeberstein Love to get some seeds if you save any.

@glennlab I would be happy to save some seeds for you! Send me a private message with your address.

How cool! Do they taste like regular tomatoes?

Yes, except they are a little sweeter and a lot juicier!

This year I have an odd hybrid, Indigo Rose and another small tomato. This plant came up volunteer and I let it grow, knowing it would likely be some variety of cherry tomato as those are the ones that seem prone to self seeding. The fruit is a bit larger and only the upper portion tends to turn dark. The flavor is not quite as sweet as the IR but sweeter than normal tomatoes. The picture shows a regular spoon for size comparison.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
