I thought that I heard it raining several times when I was awoken during the night. Sure enough this morning was wet and damp. So much so that all the snails had climbed up the nearest tall plant to avoid drowning. I must have plucked fifty of the slimy little critters off the now gone to seed tat soi, kale and other tasty plants. They were, big and little, pitched out onto the blacktop. And that was the extent of my gardening for the day!
You will be even less impressed with my Saturday efforts for which I have a photo. The vase is now amongst the concrete kittens, the fat bearded gardener and other concrete wildlife lounging by the entry door. I thought that I had an in situ photo but seemingly not:
