Good morning!
Can you send a picture of the overall tank? I love the setups and curious to see the whole habitat.
Here it comes:
A 20 L
@Leafhead Do you keep them together in the 20gal tank?
@AstralSmoke
I keep the Long Tails with the House Geckos. They clean up any crickets the Long Tails miss.
(Crickets and most geckos are nocturnal).
I keep the Mourning Geckos to themselves because they are really small. The Anoles I keep in their own cage, because they and the Long Tails freak each other out.
@Leafhead From where do the Mourning Geckos get their name? Can they be kept with the House Geckos when they get larger?
How many Anoles do you have? Are they also kept in a 20gal aquarium?
@AstralSmoke
Mourning Geckos get their name from the fact that they are parthenogenic, which means no males are necessary to fertilize eggs. All are female, so supposedly "mourning their husbands".
I keep them separate from my other lizards because they are quite a bit smaller and have special dietary needs.
I have two Anoles in a 10 gal. I'm hoping to get a larger setup and add another female

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
