Not quite sure where to place this post. So, you folks are the most tolerant of me. I spent a few hours this afternoon vacuuming and then using a carpet washer on two of Linda's recent auction purchases. The larger rug ( 8.5 x 12.5 feet ) will replace the one we currently have in the master bedroom. The small green one was "free" as the winning bidder upon examining it closely didn't want it and threw it out. Linda grabbed it and after several washings, it's fine as a replacement front door door-mat. A total of nine oriental-style carpets of various sizes for $40.00.....
