We’ve got some rain today in Yuma. Not a lot. IF I had done my planting, I would still need to water. I picked some tomatoes today...amazing, since I haven’t even been out there for about ten days. There are still some green tomatoes, but I still do not know whether the plants are going to survive...time will tell. The leeks are doing good. The sweet potatoes are still questionable. Today is the first day I have actually felt “almost well” in weeks. If I feel even better tomorrow, I will plant my second crop...if I don’t, I will write it off this year, as any later than this is just too late.
Update: we’ve had steady very light rain the better part of the day, so it is starting to add up. My leaky roof repairs are proving themselves to be good, thankfully.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
