Loads of tomatoes set on, some as big as 3 and 1/2 inches wide. Although they are still green, I can already taste those black heirloom tomatoes in my mind. Just another 2 to 3 weeks until I can taste them in reality.

Are the blacks less acidic? ?

I would describe the taste as deliciously sweet, slightly aromatic, and mildly tart.

Like a cross between yellow and red. Very good.

Dang, it's almost time to plant tomatoes here in Oregon, and now you have my mouth watering for 'maters off the vine....!

I can't even plant for several weeks yet, I'm so jealous!

Move south .

@Cast1es I lived in the south once, it didn't agree with me. All my children now live within 20 miles of where I live, there is nothing at this moment that would persuade me to move away from my grandbabies.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
