Those strawberries look so perfect, and most likely taste delicious! I would just eat them fresh, just the way they are!

I do every time I am working in the garden - Ha!

Trim and freeze them...they freeze fairy well....use zip-lock bags and suck the air out of them once you've filled a bag up...they'll last for months, and defrost fairly well....or use them frozen in smoothies....or make a puree out of them....mmmmmm. Sugar - or any kind of honey or flavored syrups - are good options to bag them with...

I freeze them on sheet pans first - then seal them in vacuum bags once they are frozen.

These are real strawberries not the monster methyl bromide berries from California. [theconversation.com]

I have a few strawberry plants around the garden - feed the mice, birds, slugs, snails, etc - I rarely get to eat any - am envious of your crop (I buy my eaters locally)

I built a wire cage over my strawberry bed to keep the critters out...

@FrostyJim What is the cotter please?

The slugs are getting mine 😠

@Heidi68 Slugs create a slimy path and slide over it , they don't like rough surfaces . Grind up egg shells and surround plants you don't want slugs to get to .

@Cast1es I will try that thanks

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
