I have been working on my patio plants slowly but steadily. This is the succulent garden on my table. Later I'l post pics of the potted plants I've done. Still potting a few this evening when it cools off.

The trays I used were the bottom bowls of big pots. The top I drilled holes in for good drainage and the bottom one has glass rocks inside to keep the top one elevated so the water doesn't stand on the plant roots. I will put the bottom one up for the summer but use it when I bring this in for winter. When it's outside it can just drain excess water to the ground.

I left spaces for the things to grow and fill in.

I am very jealous of your green thumb and patio....my mom&dad were great gardeners while I seem to be the sailor upon the windswept seas of change eager to take root like a floating coconut

@NoPlanetB When I move back South, I hope to do some planters like this one...they are happy to look at, so a smiley face is appropriate! ha ha

I have one succulent combination that I picked up real cheap - had it inside and it didn't seem happy so I put it out on my patio table - holy smoke is it happy now!

@NoPlanetB I had it in a south window - tons of light (at least my orchids think it is). I think it just likes the wicked heat 🤔😀

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
