I've been working on getting things potted. I moved the bird bath to the center and then placed the pots around it in a half moon display. I want to get some ceramic frogs for down front of it or maybe I'll make some. This fall I'll repaint the gnome, he's getting a bit sad. The plants in the raised pot by the door are called Dot Plants, color coded depending on the color of dots.
The rose I just planted today needs trimming and deadheaded, the bloom is dropping off but the fragrance was wonderful. Can't wait for new blooms to happen. It's paler than I like, my preference is for vibrant colors but it will do. Next year I'll get a Peace rose to be it's friend.
I still haven't gotten my red patio pavers to trim the patio with. Maybe in a few weeks. It's still a work in progress.
Last night I was sitting out on the patio and my neighbor to the west came out to let her little dog out. I invited her to have a visit and she grabbed her drink and sat down. We chatted for maybe an hour or so. Was a nice visit and nice to have amiable neighbors. I feel very fortunate to have found this place. I'm settling in nicely and some homey happiness is sneaking back into my life.
I really like the variegated plant in the whit pot. What is it?
@NoPlanetB I'll have to look for this. Very Unusual. Thanks
Everything looks ready to go inside to avoid first overnight frost this fall....have any birds come to drink or bathe ?
@NoPlanetB a little bit of guano might fertilize a soil pot but what do I know given my poor results
It looks so inviting. Wish you were my neighbor!!
Alice appreciates your birthday wishes yesterday

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
