The physical things are a given, as is looking at someone when they speak and really engaging with them. I also like random contact during the day—not necessarily a call or multiple contacts but some evidence that we are thinking of each other.

There's a look. I can't describe it, but I've mentioned it a few times somewhere on here.

Touch is vital, essential, undeniable; but trust is the key to this woman's heart---the expression that makes me feel loved.

A certain expression or look.There is something in the eyes. I can't explain it, but when l see it, there is something there that even a gentle touch or hug can't make me feel.

A touch, a hug, and a kiss are each an emotional turn on, whether romantic or platonic.

Physical contact like leaning on him while watching a movie on the couch. Holding hands is nice. Talking on the phone while lying in bed.... Hugs... Lots hugs. Piggyback rides lol

One thing I've experienced is someone who has the ability to recall things I've said in the past, word for word, that tells me they were actually paying attention to what I was saying at the time, could be something I'd forgotten about. Really cut me to the core, not in a bad way but a surprised and endearing OMG way. Sheesh, my memory isn't even that good.

a hand on my arm

The warmth of a man's hand on the small of my back when we are walking through a crowd. It's gently protective, possessive in the least confining way.

We were talking one night about some of the crazy stuff you remember from your childhood - I said I had always envied the kids who had those big boxes of Crayons (the 64 box - remember those?) cause I never got anything more than the bare minimum. Never thought about it again - that Christmas, I got a box of Crayons (yup, the big box). Pretty sweet, huh?
