I ended up buying some qualcomm stock instead.
I have been pestering my mom to buy it since 2001 when the market crashed and she was downsized over it .
Back then, I knew even less about stocks.
I guess this anonymous Q is invisible.
My mom ignored me and tossed her 401k into a MLM scam instead. After losing all of her retirement money, she went back to minimum wage sales. She currently lives in Washington state and I am so glad to not be dragged down by her anymore. She keeps doing this !
It is now 2021 and
Robert Half international finance stocks have crashed, they downsized her out of a job and my mom has once again failed to learn her lesson. Instead of buying Robert Half stocks, she is going to throw money at a new MLM scam that is linked to real estate. She assures me that it will be different this time. It is not my problem. I can not save her from herself, she has made up her mind . She never prepares in advance for anything ; She just over-reacts to short term losses .
