Woohoo! Christine Hallquist just won the Democratic nomination for governor of Vermont! First transgender individual to be so nominated. Like Danica Roem of VA, she ran and won on the issues, not her gender identity. And like Danica, you may be sure her opponent will MAKE this an issue.
