1993 NFL Houston Oilers Had At Least 2 Gay Players And It Was ‘No Big Deal’ According To Former Teammates
Why does it seem like it's a big deal today (25 Years Later) to have gay players on a football team? It seems like this has gone two steps back.
2 reported gay players in 1993, according to teammates. But that is not the same as publicly out. There's a difference. Christian gay-haters know full well that gay athletes exist. They can't stand the idea of society accepting it. Plus, some of their vitriol is sheer grandstanding. Their bullshit paradigm rests on the notion that "Satan is attacking Christians on all sides," and so they believe they have to create bogey men whenever possible to keep motivating their followers to be true zealots. It all depends on fear to keep driving their evangelical movement.
It's the Christians as usual...they have struggled with sexuality since the dawn of man and will continue to struggle as long as they are programmed to blindly follow and obey...sad for them...they are missing out in some GREAT SEX?????
