I remember as an impressionable child my elder brother telling that the Chinese used to keep pigs in paper houses and it was only when one accidentally went on fire that they discovered how tasty roast pig was.
I swallowed it all and only much later I thought, I wonder why they kept pigs anyway ?. As pets.
