@BeeHappy I was trying not to say that... but yes, if you want science before God you should not disregard the science that applies to other areas of life, if you pick and choose you may as well just go to church... I want to be congruent with my thinking on all I am aware of and I want it to show in my actions. I want to admit I was wrong when I get get information that challenges my beliefs. I’ve noticed you to be much the same

@tnorman1236 a few weeks ago a customer said to me, “Why are there only two pallbearers at an Italian funeral? Answer: Because there are only two handles on a garbage can”… at which point I told him I was Italian to which he responded, “it was just a joke“. It just gets old... I know you don’t mean anything and I believe you’re good people... that said, I get gay jokes for being vegan at work... I’m to nice to call H.R. ... and it’s a poor insult anyway. In any case my initial response was still meant to flirt with humor while making a point. It’s “just a joke” when it’s about someone else... it’s the kind of thing that needs to stop, it’s how our president behaves and because of that more than ever I won’t act like it’s normal or acceptable. It’s also why I visit so many posts without liking or comment... this one sucked me in. Look as hard at my posts as you like... not on a single one do I tell people not to eat meat or that what they are doing is wrong... I just want what’s best for the world and do be good example for my kids.

@tnorman1236 I agree with AA's comment but for me it wasn't the meme so much as the comments that bothered me. I'm not even a vegan but I know I should be. I can't even claim to be a vegetarian because I'm not 100%. But I know the changes I have made have improved my health and that's my primary goal, good health. I wish I had the commitment that vegans do because I know it would be better for the planet and the population. That's one of the reasons we are so passionate about it. We want everyone including the planet to be in good health. ?

@psycheworks It is just as destructive. If everyone went Vegan, the planet would be destroyed. Vegans do not understand the basic physics and biology of this planet. Their precious animals would die first.

@GuyKeith I'm not against anyone eating or not eating whatever they like however I'm getting a lot of animal cruelty videos shoved at me as a way of turning me vegan from the personality types that seem to also be Xian fundamentalists. I don't need to see that to know it happens and I certainly don't condone it and if anything it's a turn off for any useful information about being vegan that I might want to know about. And of course I'm talking about the rabid in your face vegan not your average vegan who just eats and gets on with it. @ArdentAtheist and @BeeHappy clearly if Ardent Atheist is as ardent as his name then he is intolerant too, @BeeHappy I'm vegetarian and open minded

How do you know someone is a Vegan? Don't worry, they will tell you.
