I want you to know, decades ago I dubbed your city as "the City at the Gates of Hell". Could you please use this on future reference?

@zorialoki We're built on a grid system with a few major & minor highways going in all directions. When you visited were you stopping at one of the peyote churches?

I am at a farm, it is 90+ degrees outside, we mayne have had 70s at night, and I just noticed yellowish leaves on the roof. WTF???!!! How does that tree knows we are officially in the fall season?

We have trees and bushes like that here and it must be in their DNA, I can see no other reason for it
they are tired and need a nap, daylight is the primary key to the dormancy, temperature is secondary. The primary key to waking up is temperature with daylight being secondary.
It has been getting in the 30's here late at night. Mother nature owes me another spring! We went straight from arctic tundra hell to inferno in just a few days.

@Zoohome this morning, I went out and 1000s of my caterpillars have moved from my vines to the side of my house to pupate. 100s of very tired females are busy laying eggs, temp has keyed their survival of the species actions. Boy are they going to be surprised when it gets back into the 90s in a week.
