minneapolis has awesome tap water
In East Hawaii we catch and drink rainwater.
@dartagnan6666 In the US it is illegal to collect rain water. My dad's neighbour got in trouble because he had an irrigation unit that was fed off the creek.
@TheGreatShadow I think that is on a location by location basis. I've heard of municipalities that claim to own the rain and on that basis prohibit collection. It's definitely legal in Hawaii, currently still part of the US.lol, though not practicle or nessesary in much of the state.
@dartagnan6666 Haven't you heard? Hawaii is part of Kenya. lol
Seriously I don't know about all 50 states, and probably varies from county to county. If someone has a few 5 gallon buckets and leaves them out for there garden for when there is no rain, I have no issue with. But if someone is draining an entire creek, that's different.
never understood the attraction to bottled water.
They think it has more osmosis done to it. However, most bottled water comes from municipal water supplies.
@Snickers77 Get a brita jug.
HAHA! P&T did an episode once where they suckered some guy to try all types of bottled water. He paid for it a a fancy restraunt. It came from the same garden hose out back!
I remember that BS episode!
@phxbillcee That's the same one where they sold someone a TV dinner as gourmet?
That ep was great! Loved the menu lol.
