Fuck is such a versatile word, change the intonation, different meaning, change the delivery, same thing. So many things you can do with that word. If we were coming down to the short list of most valuable words, fuck would certainly be up there in the final few.

OK since you asked, I'll tell a little navy story about the word fuck.
I had recently gotten reassigned to a new ship and on it was a young, straight laced, fresh out of college ensign (the lowest rank of the commissioned officers). When the holidays came, he took leave and went home. While there he attended a holiday meal with all of his family present. At one point he was ready for some mashed potatoes, so he looks up and says, "grandma, would you please pass the fuckin spuds? Now he's a navy man...
That's the kind of thing that makes me feel all warm and stabby.
