@SiouxcitySue A coating of flour, breadcrumbs or flour paste makes an interesting occasional change with bacon & egg breakfast. Also good for making pork pies and of course when off grid or camping invaluable.
After writing my above response I thought "well if the neighbour is caterwauling either invite him for breakfast or shoot the bastard for waking you up!"

@thinktwice It was an event held in Austin for three decades. It was meant as a joke. A cook off using Spam as the main ingredient. It caught on and became a popular event. Hormel sued and after a bunch of legal wrangling, it went away. I read the other day it has made a come back. Why hormel sued I will never know. Spamarama helped keep the name alive. Stupid corporate assholes.
