The only time I encountered the Klan, they were handing out fliers at traffic corner. They weren't wearing hoods. Most of the time they don't wear hoods because they block their vision when the hood shifts around on their head.
Originally, they'd wear hoods while in the Black neighborhoods so the Blacks wouldn't track them down.
It is well worth noting that since the 1920's and 1930's KKK has been steadily declining in membership to the point where it's hard to find them.
