What an I missing on organics. Isn't less pesticides better than more?
didn't say anything about pesticides, "organic", Deathcap mushrooms are 100% organic and natural, but one bite will likely cause death. Organic has no meaning except higher price, not less/no pesticde, not no chemical fertilizer, not even sustainably grown. Little to no regulation as to what can be called organic in most of the country.
Well, I'm no expert, and yes, less pesticides are Definately better than more, but as I understand it, theory (no pesticides) and practice (ie regulations/certification processes) are very different. So, costly and ineffective measures to claim 'organic' increse (sometimes drastically) the end user prices, and the produce is often no so different from the non-organic.
(also, it's all technically organic, unless it's a rock/metal etc. LOL)
