Hard to recommend an album without knowing your taste in metal. I seen a major brawl break out in a pub over wether ACDC were metal.or hard rock.. Even Metal heads have delicate sensibilities it seems. I thought at the time "who gives a flying......f. But apparently. .....Music being so subjective , individual music taste and all Some people consider Korn metal.. ?

Judas Priest "Unleashed in The East". The album where metal went from men with long hair, silk shirts and bell bottoms to black leather and chrome studs and introduced songs even darker than Sabbath. Volume that could cause windburn and guitar feedback and screams from Halford that made people cover their ears. Every song on this album is better than it's studio counterpart, especially "Green Manalishi" (which they no longer play). If I were asked to introduce someone to Heavy Metal, this is the LP that I would hand them. ( I know there's a list of 20 other LP's that others would pick, and I woudn't argue with them because they're right too ) P.S. I know it's also referenced as "Unleashed in The Studio" for all the touching up.

1978 release of black Sabbath's Never say die.I remember getting an A in art class for drawing the ablum cover. The teacher didn't even realized it wasn't original that I had copied it.

I haven't updated or saved this in a long time. I have probably 3X as many records by now. I'd have to go home and see if I have a more current version on my server.
