Natural Alternatives

This is a group for people to learn, share, and discuss natural alternatives to what we use on our bodies, as household cleaners and products, in and/or around our homes. Everyone is aware that you should be conscious of what goes into your body, but what about outside your body, your kids, and your pets?

I now have tooth powder and deodorant to last for at least a year. It was a productive day. What projects would you like to take on?

I ordered a box of this fabulous paper from Amazon. I’d totally recommend it to anyone. I know some people like the super soft stuff, but that can do more harm than good, especially for those of us with lady bits. I ❤️ That there is zero ...

I haven’t been this excited about trying a product in a long ass time! My only concern is xylitol, which is dangerous and toxic for dogs. (Ask me about the time my pug ate a pack of gum!) Otherwise, this looks like a perfect thing. ...

If you’re making any baked goods, replace eggs with chia seeds so you can eat the dough. 1 egg = 1tbsp chia and 2.5 tbsp water

I’ve heard you can use Castile soap for many uses, so I attempted making my first liquid soap. Liquid is a different beast and it broke my stick mixer. But it seems to have turned out alright. I’ve heard you can use it as shampoo but I was not ...
