"We do not live in a world of reality but a world of perceptions."

Yes, this really works! I found it searching for some natural causes of "paranormal" religious, spiritual and other PSI phenomena.

I'd centered my search on foods, such as it's very likely "that eating ergot-contaminated food can lead to a convulsive disorder characterized by violent muscle spasms, vomiting, delusions, hallucinations, crawling sensations on the skin, and a host of other symptoms — all of which, Linnda Caporael noted, are present in the records of the Salem Witch Trials" from The Witch's Curse - PBS

I'll continue with a post about possible "hallucinogenic food connections" but, after seeing this, I must admit some of my ghost sightings may have been bought on by strobic effects of candlelight, flickering street lights or some such similar known natural phenomenon...

...however this is far from conclusive.

I assume you are referring to the afterimages that this sort of thing can cause.
BTW, Rosicrucians and some other mystics practice staring into candle flames.

@DangerDave I tried it again and though I experienced a certain fluidity to the patterns, which did not surprise me, I can't say that I experienced a fluid appearance in solid objects. Maybe if I stared at it longer and totally wore out the cones in my eyes. But, to each his own ghost. 🙂

Posted by Fibonacci1618Saw this, loved it, thought I'd share it..... In truth, I don't like the minority vs Euro Saxon depiction, but the larger point I thought was worth sharing.
