My latest atheist rebuttal:
As many atheists (as theists) are drunk with power, (they sell) only their "brand" of atheism. Atheist "messiahs" abound with their own fire and thumbscrews.
Judaic religions I dismiss immediately, with their long history of updates for social engineering of every population they have ever come in contact with. I'd "convert" as a matter of survival but remain an unbeliever as many in the same situation have since religions were invented.

For decades, I've toyed with ever evolving concepts of pantheistic possibilities. The very thought of having a religion makes me shudder, though having that nebulous "HP" has helped keep me stay sober 18 years.
To me, atheism would be like wearing the same ill fitting, uncomfortable suit every day. In my experiences with too many atheists, some never wash them either.
