Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.This, and other recent posts in the same vein, are very interesting. I find myself irritated by the use of the phase "we can't explain". Just because something hasn't been explained yet, or is not yet fully understood, doesn't mean we can't explain it. I would much prefer it if they used the phrase "we haven't yet explained".

I totally agree. The phrase "we can't explain" seems to presume that no explanation is possible. I also prefer, "we haven't yet explained" or "we don't understand, yet".
I love the alternatives to the alien hypothesis, though.
